WORLAND – The Wyoming State Homemakers annual meeting was held in Worland June 16-18 with 63 members in attendance. Several husbands accompanied their wives, plus adult daughters and two young grandchildren.
Four generations of one family from Douglas, Pine Bluffs and a number of visitors from the area and Montana attended.
Goshen County delegates were Donna Peterson, former Goshen County president, now treasurer, and Betty Allen, Goshen County Creative Arts chairman.
Peterson served as state president of Homemakers in 2014-2015, having been vice president in 2012-2013. She was honored to join the Quealy Homemakers Club in 2005 at the Casper state meeting with her family in attendance. She had served or held office in Extension before Wyoming dropped Extension and became a state-sanctioned organization.
