TORRINGTON – The foundation for a representative republic and democracy is an active, well-informed electorate. To help Goshen County citizens become more informed about their candidates for this coming election, The Torrington Telegram will be hosting “Speed Meet the Candidates” on Oct. 24, 2022, at the Goshen County Fairgrounds Rendezvous Center from 6-7:30 p.m.

The event will offer an opportunity for constituents to meet their candidates and ask them any question they would like. Each person will have three minutes with their candidate to ask questions. After the three-minute period, each person will advance to the next candidate.

A list of the candidates who have filed in Goshen County can be viewed at the Goshen County Clerk’s website, goshencounty.org. These are the candidates for the various county positions.
