Southeast does well at National FFA Convention

YODER – Four Southeast High School students attended the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, Ind., to compete in two events. Our meats team consisted of Kaci Schmick who placed as a Gold Individual, Anna Schmick and Shelby Schainost who both placed in the high Silver division. As a team, they placed 12th overall, earning gold status in the competition.
In the Agriscience contest, Bree Coxbill placed 2nd overall in Division One of the animal science division. Her project compared using fresh semen verses frozen semen when artificially inseminating sheep. Bree was honored with the opportunity to receive her honor on stage.
The Southeast FFA chapter is very proud of their accomplishments.
