Sharon was born on July 9, 1943 in Torrington. Immediately after graduating from Torrington High School Sharon married the love of her life, Clifford Dwight Warner, and shared a wonderful life with him spanning 57 plus years.
Sharon was always willing to please and would do anything for anyone. She loved to cook and bake and was always preparing dishes requested by family members at family gatherings. She loved camping and her favorite place was Horseshoe Creek. Her favorite trips in her life were with Cliff to Nashville, Tenn. and the trip they took to Alaska.
Sharon worked as a cook at Deacon’s for 23 years. She was more than just a cook and was friends with many of the staff and customers. She continued to bake for Deacon’s even into retirement. She loved to cook and enjoyed seeing others eat her food. She made the best chicken fried steak in town. She had a warm smile and loved to sit and visit over coffee.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband Clifford Warner; her son Steven and wife Kim and their son Austin Warner; her sisters Beverly Allen, Lois Hickman, Maxine Mills, Karen Walsh, Martha Haines and Mary Nash; her brothers Francis Smith, Thomas Nelson and Todd Smith. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
