

Sharks continue to excel in Hemingford

HEMINGFORD, Neb. – The Torrington Sharks Swim team continues to excel in the pool, netting one meet record, one relay win and 12 individual wins at their meet in Hemingford, Nebraksa on Saturday, June 25.
Taelyn Stokes, 8, set a new meet record in the girls 8-and-under 25-yard freestyle with a time of 19.41 seconds. Paisley Martin, Cooper Walter, Mason Patrick and Emily Milner brought home the lone relay win of the meet in the mixed 9-10 100-yard medley relay. Their time was 1 minute, 31.63 seconds.

The Sharks look ahead to their home meet July 1, 2023, at the Dale Jones Municipal Pool in Torrington. The meet begins at 9 a.m. and is free and open to the public to come cheer on their friends and family.
