TORRINGTON – After seven players were ejected after an on-court altercation Saturday against Otero Junior College, those seven were suspended for two games per NJCAA rules.
Late in Saturday’s game against the Rattlers, an altercation happened on the floor, which resulted in seven Lancers being sent to the locker room early. Five of those ejections were a result of players leaving the bench area.
Those seven players will have to sit out two games. The Lancers will be limited to six players for tonight’s game against McCook Community College at 7:30 p.m. and tomorrow’s game against North Platte Community College at 4 p.m. Both games will be played at the Verl Petsch Jr. Activities Center.
