Dear Editor,

I believe the people of Goshen County and all the residents of Wyoming would benefit from letters published in this newspaper and others from Rep. Cheri Steinmetz and Sen. Curt Meier. As a co-sponsors of House Bill 135, they should explain their understanding of the Separation of Church and State and how it applies to government employees. It might be good to also have one of the elected officials explain how their bill supports “broad religious protections,” but only protects people with a specific set of views on LGBT people.
