TORRINGTON – Sandra Joyce Firster formerly of Franklin, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Nov. 13, 2021 in Torrington where she and her husband Tedson R. Firster resided for the past few years. Before moving to Wyoming, they lived in California for 55 years. Born on December 13, 1937, she was one of six girls and one boy born to Izetta and Lloyd Pyle, Sr. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her five sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Tedson R. Firster of Torrington, he was the love of her life. She is also survived by her two children, daughter Kimberly Sue Craft of Torrington, and son Timothy R. Firster of Riverside, California and blessed with eight grandchildren: Jesse and Donnetta Firster, Joshua and Deidre Firster, Jennifer Firster, Cody and Leslie Firster, Rachel and Anthony Ives, Matthew and Tori Craft, Sondra and Adam Ellis, Kevin and Ashley La Rue, 15 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchildren.
Sandra was a 1955 graduate of Franklin High School, Pennsylvania, where she was the Head Baton Majorette in High School and College. She was a member of Lifeway Church. In lieu of flowers, she would prefer donations be made in her honor to Lifeway Church (benevolence fund) 1341 East M Street, Torrington, WY 82240. Celebration of Life will be held Saturday Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. at Lifeway Church in Torrington.
