TORRINGTON – Marie Moniz entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Dec. 26, 2019. Ron Moniz entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 1, 2020. After being inseparable through 46 years of marriage, Ron and Marie remain so in eternity.
Marie Antoinette Magliocco was born to Emanuel John and Rose Marie Magliocco on Nov. 21, 1948. Ron Moniz was born to Mariano Jr. and Alice Moniz on Aug. 27, 1950.
Ron and Marie were married on March 23, 1973.
Ron and Marie are survived by: Ron’s father, Mariano Jr., Ron’s brothers, Brian Moniz and his wife Coleen, Brad Moniz and his wife Debbie, Marie’s sister, Debra and her husband Louie Yan, Daughter Stephanie and husband Tony Goulart, Granddaughters Alicia and Adahline Goulart, Godson Brent Moniz and wife Kayla, Godson Tino Silva, And nieces and nephews: Nikki, Sandi, Brittany, Tommy, Bridgette, and Angela.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 1 p.m. on Feb. 29, 2020, at Lifeway Church, 1341 East M Street, in Torrington.
