Rock Shop gets a facelift

TORRINGTON – Rock Shop owners Tineasha Ollila and Loree Marlin are happy to report their business is getting a facelift.

The renovations were funded in part by a COVID-19 relief grant and will fund renovations to the building’s exterior, providing new signage and lighting for the business.

“People drive by and don’t see us,” Ollila said.

The previously light tan building now sports a shiny-new dark turquoise exterior, a newly-added awning and a bright green door. WyoCraft Construction, a licensed, bonded and insured Torrington-based construction business owned and operated by Ollila’s husband, Dan, is in charge of the project’s construction.

Dan and his crew have been seen working away at the building for the past couple of weeks, but they expect to be done soon.

The Rock Shop is located at 4102 U.S. Highway 85, west of Torrington. They can be reached by phone at (307) 532-5938 or through their Facebook page “Torrington Rock Shop.”
