TORRINGTON – Mike and Ashley Dunne did a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the launch of their new pest control business, on Wednesday, Oct. 19 in front of the Torrington Telegram. Their new business is named Pest Defense and is located in Torrington.

Pest Defense is a structural pest control company serving both commercial and residential properties. They focus on termites, rodents, bats and other general pests. They do not cover agricultural or ornamental pests.
Pest Defense is a new company that just started up this August. It is licensed in both Wyoming and Nebraska. Their service area includes Goshen County, Platte County, the Platte Valley area, Cheyenne, and Douglas.
While Pest Defense is new to the area, Mike and Ashley are not. They also own and run Dunne Inspection Services (DIS), which was founded in 2017. While doing inspections for their other company, they quickly became aware of the abundant need for pest control services. Soon they discovered that residents in this area needed more pest control options.
Through their experience with DIS, they have become familiar with always putting their client’s needs first. Pest Defense has been created with a focus on their customer’s needs and satisfaction, rather than concentrating on profit.
