Request for Bids
Notice is hereby given that Eastern Wyoming College (EWC) will now receive sealed bids from welding suppliers for welding equipment, according to specifications provided.
Instructions and specifications may be obtained without fee or deposit by contacting Ron Laher, Vice President for Administrative Services, phone (307) 532-8218 or FAX (307) 532-8329. Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. local area time, Thursday, April 6, 2017, in the EWC Business Office, located in the Tebbet Classroom Building, Room T236. Bids will be opened and recorded at 2:05 p.m. that same day in Tebbet Classroom Building, Room T270.
Per Wyoming Statute 16-6-106, "preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” EWC reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities or informalities in the bidding process, and are not bound by the lowest bid, but the bid determined to be in the best interest of the college. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement to these terms. The successful bidder will be awarded a purchase order upon review and acceptance by the EWC Board of Trustees.
