Work is underway Tuesday to remove a section of railroad track in the right-of-way of U.S. Hwy. 85 south of the Western Sugar Cooperative processing plant in Torrington. Traffic is detoured around the construction area and, despite storms last week, work is proceeding apace with anticipated reopening of the road by Monday.
