PUBLIC NOTICE

REQUEST FOR BIDS

Notice is hereby given that the City of Torrington, Wyoming will receive sealed bids for the sale and removal of a 16’ x 40’ metal building. Bidder is required to furnish all labor, materials, tools, appliances, transportation, and services necessary for:
Project: The sale and complete removal of a 16’ x 40’ metal building. The building has 7.5’ sidewalls and an 8’wide x 7’ tall insulated garage door and 3-walk in doors. The building could be disassembled and moved to a different location.
Location: The building is located at the Homesteaders Museum at 495 Main Street.
Legal: Winning bidder will be required to sign a waiver, release, indemnification, and hold harmless agreement with the City of Torrington.
Timeline:  Winning bidder will be required to have the building completely removed no later than October 30, 2023. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 P.M. local time, on the 27th day of September, 2023, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Sealed envelopes containing bids shall be clearly marked with the project title “Sale and Removal of Metal Building” and shall show the name, address and phone number of the bidder.  Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening.  The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and the right to waive irregularities in bids received.
