Notice is hereby given that Goshen Irrigation District (GID) will receive sealed bids at the office of GID for the provision and delivery of materials for the “GID 29.4 Pipe Replacement Phase II” project until 10:00 a.m. Local Time on Monday, October 24, 2022. The items to be supplied as listed on the bid schedule consist of the following major quantities (approximately):
30” SDR-51 PIP Gasketed PVC Pipe 3,500 LF
PVC Pipe for Air Vent 20 LF
Air Vent and Vacuum Relief Valve (4”) 3 EA
6”x6”x30” PVC Tee for Air Vent 3 EA
11.25° (30”) Bend 11 EA
22.5° (30”) Bend 1 EA
Bid forms and specifications may be obtained either digitally or in hard copy format from BenchMark of Torrington, P.C., 119 East 19th Avenue, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240, (307) 532-3811 or by emailing rachelle@benchmark-torr.com upon payment of $50.00 per set for hard copy or $25.00 per set for digital copy, non-refundable. Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
There will not be a pre-bid conference for this project. Bidders may contact the Engineer to schedule a site visit or to ask any questions regarding this project. In order to bid this project, the Bidder’s name must appear on the list of plan holders kept by BenchMark of Torrington, P.C.
Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents. “...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident’s bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder.” (WY Statute 16-6-102) “Preference will be given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, supplied, or grown in Wyoming, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” (WY Statute 16-6-106). The sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “GID 29.4 Pipe Replacement Phase II.” THE BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 10:00 a.m. Local Time on Monday, October 24, 2022.
