PUBLIC NOTICE

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS of
GOSHEN COUNTY, WYOMING

The Board of County Commissioners of Goshen County, Wyoming met in regular session on the above date at 9:00 am at the Goshen County Courthouse in the Commissioners Chambers with the following members present Vice Chairman Cody Cox, Commissioner Justin Burkart and Cindy Kenyon, County Clerk and Clerk of the Board. Commissioner Ellis is absent. The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the agenda with the addition of the library report and the minutes of the last meeting, seconded and passed.
The Road and Bridge report was accepted from County Surveyor Bob Taylor and Gary Childs County Planner. Gary Childs gave an overview of the FEMA flood plain map and upcoming action required. The following plats were recommended for approval by County Planner Gary Childs on behalf of the Planning Commission and were presented for approval:
Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Norton Subdivision, seconded and passed;
Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Redding Subdivision, seconded and passed;
Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the road and bridge report, seconded and passed.
Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Clerk of District Court earnings report of $3190.50, seconded and passed.
Deputy County Assessor Tricia Otten presented a Reduction of Taxes Order in the total amount of $.98. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Reduction of Taxes Order, seconded and passed.
County Clerk Cindy Kenyon presented her monthly report. The monthly earnings report was presented in the amount of $15451.50.  Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the earnings report, seconded and passed. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the warrants for payment, seconded and passed. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve one employment bond, seconded and passed. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the 2022 County Holiday Calendar, seconded and approved. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the County Clerk’s report, seconded and passed.

County Fire Warden Bill Law presented the Fire Warden’s monthly report. The Fire Warden also reminded everyone to be careful using space heaters and extension cords. Commissioner Burkart moved to approve the Fire Warden’s report, seconded and passed.
Emergency Manager Shelly Kirchhefer presented her monthly report via email. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Emergency Manager’s report, seconded and passed.
Dee Ludwig Library Board Member presented the monthly report of Library events. Commissioner Burkart moved to accept the Library report, seconded and passed.
The Commission adjourned at 9:40 am. The December 21 meeting is cancelled. The next regular meeting will be held January 4, 2022. Merry Christmas everyone. (approved for publication)
