NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF GROUNDWATER
IN THE PRAIRIE CENTER CONTROL AREA
The following applications were received by the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising and public comment, the applications will be considered by the Prairie Center Control Area Advisory Board for their recommendation.
RYLER AND KRISTA LERWICK: Temporary Filing Numbers (TFNs) UW 46-3-016, Oliver Irrigation Well, and TFN UW 46-4-016, Henry Irrigation Well are groundwater applications for irrigation use. The Oliver Irrigation Well will be located in NE¼SW¼ of Sec 2, T29N, R61W and will provide water to a 160-acre pivot in the NE1/4, SE1/4, and SW1/4 of Sec 2. The Henry Irrigation Well will be located in the NW¼NW¼ of Sec 21, T30N, R61W and will provide water to a 160-acre pivot in the NE1/4, NW1/4, and SW1/4 of Sec 21. Proposed well depths are 450 feet, maximum yields are 950 gallons per minute, and the maximum volumetric quantity of water to be used per well is 400 acre-feet/year.
Any objections to the granting of the above applications must be made in writing to the State Engineer, 122 West 25th Street, Herschler Building 2W, Cheyenne, WY 82002. Objections must be received within ten days of the final publication of this notice.
