TOWN OF LINGLE         )

The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at 5:00 PM November 3, 2021 with Mayor Siglin leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum: Mayor: George Siglin Council Members: Steve Edwardson     Joe Welte Brandie Cook A.J. Lambert. There was also present: Fire Chief: Kasey Bangerter Town Attorney: Anna Barnes Clerk: Richard Reyes Town Supervisor: Larry Haeffelin Absent: Police Chief: Endra Andrews Mayor Siglin welcomed all to the meeting and thanked them for being present. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the agenda. CM Lambert moved to approve the agenda as presented. CM Welte voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the minutes of the October 20, 2021 regular council meeting. CM Welte moved to approve the minutes as presented. CM Lambert voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. BILLS FOR OCTOBER 2021: CM Edwardson moved to approve the Town bills in the amount of $112,322.12. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously.  
LVFD: FC Bangerter reported: Calls have been slow this month; The old ambulance will be put up for sale via Big Iron Auction on December 8th; The Fire Department participated in the Halloween Trunk or Treat and also put on a haunted house. LEGAL: TA Barnes reported: Demand letters for over due accounts have been mailed; A Continuance for an active court case has been issued. ADMINISTRATIVE: C Reyes reported: The Community Center fire suppression system has been tested and is up to date; The Town Self Audit FYE 2021 has been submitted and received by the Wyoming Department of Audit; The Lingle Mingle Jingle will take place November 12th and 13th in the Community and Senior center’s; The Town Office will be closed November 11th for Veteran’s Day and November 25th and 26th for Thanksgiving.
MAINTENANCE: TS Haeffelin reported: The flags for Veteran’s Day have been put up; He attended a class in Casper, WY for drinking and waste water. CORRESPONDENCE: C Reyes reminded the Council of the 100th year celebration for the Goshen County Library to take place November 16th at noon at the Goshen County Library. COUNCIL ITEMS: CM Cook discussed Goshen Economic Development’s Annual Meeting which took place October 28th in the Lingle Community Center, she said the affair was enjoyable and very well attended. CM Edwardson questioned the need for a second Council Meeting this month and Council voted by consensus to not convene on November 17, 2021. Mayor Siglin informed all attendees that following a conversation with GED CEO Lisa Miller, Ms. Miller will be retiring December 31, 2021; He discussed a redistricting meeting between Goshen County municipal representatives and Goshen County Clerk Kenyon; He also informed Council that he will be participating in a Zoom Meeting with the Wyoming Association of Municipalities on November 4, 2021.     
With no further business to conduct Mayor Siglin adjourned the meeting at 5:21 PM.
