TOWN OF LINGLE        )
The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at 5:00 PM October 6, 2021 with Mayor Siglin leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum: Mayor: George Siglin Council Members: Steve Edwardson Joe Welte Brandie Cook A.J. Lambert There was also present: Police Chief:     Endra Andrews Fire Chief: Kasey Bangerter Town Attorney: Anna Barnes Clerk: Richard Reyes Town Supervisor: Larry Haeffelin. Mayor Siglin welcomed all to the meeting and thanked them for being present. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the agenda. CM Welte moved to approve the agenda as presented. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the minutes of the September 22, 2021 regular council meeting. CM Lambert moved to approve the minutes as presented. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. BILLS FOR SEPTEMBER 2021: CM Edwardson moved to approve the Town bills in the amount of $ 167,089.28. CM Welte voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously. POLICE ITEMS: PC Andrews reported: Lingle High School Homecoming will take place this week a bonfire will take place Thursday October 7th and the football game on Friday October 8th; she has municipal court and bench court dates to attend and will attend firearm training at the end of October. LVFD: FC Bangerter reported: Calls have been significantly slower than last month; The old ambulance will be put up for sale via auction and repairs to Fire House #2 are underway. LEGAL: TA Barnes reported: In reference to previous court cases: one plea agreement has been reached; two nuisance cases are moving forward with possible continuances for both cases. ADMINISTRATIVE: C Reyes reported: Western Municipal Area Power Annual fiscal report was submitted 9-28-2021; The F-66 financial report for the Town of Lingle has been submitted to the State of Wyoming; A Progress Program Infrastructure Grant application has been submitted for a new ambulance stretcher in the amount of $20,000.00; As of today two events are scheduled to be held in the Lingle Community Center for the month of October; Email distribution of the Council packets was discussed with three members agreeing to email distribution and two to physical distribution; The Town office will be closed Monday October 11th for Columbus Day; C Reyes will be out of the office October 8th to the October 15th for vacation and the office hours during that time will be 9AM to 3PM. MAINTENANCE: TS Haeffelin reported: A meeting with DEQ took place with a very positive outcome with a possible 2022 permitting and closure of the landfill; The pool and park restrooms have been closed and winterized; Two new tires have been ordered for the old dump truck.     NEW BUSINESS: Following discussion of the Catering Permit application submitted by The Open Barrel Brewing Company CM Welte moved to approve the permit. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion passed unanimously. COUNCIL ITEMS:  Mayor Siglin discussed the resignation of Wyoming District 2 Representative Hans Hunt and suggested that everyone take precautions when out and about with the increased cases of Covid-19 in the local area.   
With no further business to conduct Mayor Siglin adjourned the meeting at 5:20 PM.
