The Regular Meeting of the Lingle Town Council convened at 5:00 P.M. November 4, 2020 with Mayor Siglin leading the Pledge of Allegiance. Upon roll call, the following were present, constituting a quorum:
Mayor: George Siglin
Council Members: Brandie Cook
Steve Edwardson
Joe Welte
A.J. Lambert
There was also present: Police Chief: Endra Andrews
Town Attorney: Anna Barnes
Absent: Fire Chief: Kasey Bangerter
Clerk: Richard Reyes
Town Supervisor: Larry Haeffelin
Mayor Siglin welcomed all to the meeting and thanked them for being present. Mayor Siglin called for approval of the agenda as presented. CM Welte moved to approve the agenda. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Siglin called for approval of the minutes of the October 21, 2020 regular council meeting. CM Edwardson moved to approve the minutes as presented. CM Welte voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously.
BILLS FOR OCTOBER 2020: CM Edwardson moved to approve the Town bills in the amount of
$106,422.45. CM Cook voiced the second and the motion carried unanimously.
POLICE ITEMS: PC ANDREWS: Reported: Various incidents throughout the town; court is scheduled for 11/12/2020; she prepared a document to be in compliance with Federal and State use of force statutes and that the Lingle Police Department will not use choke holds.
LEGAL ITEMS: TA BARNES: Reported: She has been working with Office Andrews for cases to be heard 11/12/2020; She is researching a Policy and Procedure document for the Lingle Police Department; No response has been received from Melette Maypark a follow up letter will be issued.
COUNCIL ITEMS: CM Cook discussed a pothole in the vicinity of Main and 2nd and also reported possible grant funding for training for municipal employees thru the Goshen County Economic Development Corporation Progress Program. Mayor Siglin updated Council on the Wyoming Taxpayer Association meeting and the CREG Report.
With no further action to be taken Mayor Siglin adjourned the meeting at 5:22 P.M.
