NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Goshen Irrigation District “GID” will conduct a public meeting at 10 A.M. on October 15th, 2020 in their Board Room, 2912 W E St, Torrington, WY 82240. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on GID’s requested Clean Water State Revolving Loan Fund from the Office of State Land & Investments in the amount of 378,000 thousand at 2.5% interest over a 30 year term that will include a portion of the principal forgiveness component for expenses for the reclamation of Tunnel #2 site, which collapsed in July, 2019. The district plans to fund the repayment of the project through landowner assessments of an increase of $5.00 an acre in the 2020-2021 fiscal year and beyond.
