Notice is hereby given that Goshen County will receive sealed bids at the Goshen County Courthouse for the ”Road Rehabilitation: 43, 74T & Prairie Dr” project until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, May 28, 2020. The work is described in the plans and specifications and on the bid schedule, and consists of the following major quantities (approximately):
Ditch Grading 18,889 SY
Install Culverts 8 EA
Remove and Re-set Fence 30 LF
Road Grading and Shaping 37,372 SY
Haul, Place and Compact Owner-supplied Aggregate 37,372 SY
Haul and Place Owner-supplied Recycled Asphalt Pavement 9,053 SY
Bid forms, specifications, and plans may be obtained either in digital or hard copy format from BenchMark of Torrington, P.C., 119 East 19th Avenue, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240, (307) 532-3811 or by emailing rachelle@benchmark-torr.com upon payment of $40.00 per set for hard copy or $25.00 per set for digital copy, non-refundable. Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
An on-site pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at the intersection of Roads 43 and 74T. It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all bidders interested in this project attend the pre-bid conference. Due to ever-changing state guidelines due to COVID-19, any updates related to this meeting will be emailed to all plan holders. It is recommended that if you are not on the list of plan holders, you contact the Engineer to verify the status of the meeting the day before. It is also recommended that only one representative attend for each bidder.
Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents. “...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident’s bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder.” (WY Statute 16-6-102) “Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” (WY Statute 16-6-106). The sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “Road Rehabilitation: 43, 74T & Prairie Dr”. THE BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, May 28, 2020. Due to ever-changing state guidelines due to COVID-19, any changes related to this meeting will be issued as an addendum.
