Notice is hereby given that Goshen County will receive sealed bids at the Goshen County Courthouse for the “FAB Bridge Replacement” project until 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Monday, July 1, 2019. The work is described in the plans and specifications and on the bid schedule, and consists of the following major quantities (approximately):
Remove Existing Bridge Structure 1 LS
Clean and Reshape Channel 111 LF
Install Owner-Supplied Bridge 1 LS
Concrete Pavement (8”) 111 SY
Bid forms, specifications, and plans may be obtained either in digital or hard copy format from BenchMark of Torrington, P.C., 119 East 19th Avenue, Torrington, Wyoming, 82240, (307) 532-3811 or by emailing rachelle@benchmark-torr.com upon payment of $70.00 per set for hard copy or $25.00 per set for digital copy, non-refundable. Bid documents may be inspected at the above listed office from 8:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the Commissioners Room at the Goshen County Courthouse. It is recommended, but not mandatory, that all bidders interested in this project attend the pre-bid conference.
Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided in accordance with the contract documents. “...the contract shall be let to the responsible certified resident making the lowest bid if the certified resident’s bid is not more than five percent (5%) higher than that of the lowest responsible nonresident bidder.” (WY Statute 16-6-102) “Preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery, and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the state, quality being equal to articles offered by the competitors outside of the state.” (WY Statute 16-6-106). The sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope “FAB Bridge Replacement”
THE BIDS WILL BE OPENED AT 2:00 p.m. Local Time on Monday, June 1, 2019.
