Public Health announces flu shot clinics

GOSHEN COUNTY – Goshen County Public Health is offering flu inoculations during a series of clinics this week.

Cost for the vaccinations of $40 and covers the most current, 2018-19 Quadrivalent version of the vaccine. Fees are payable at time of service, with the agency billing to Medicare, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Railroad Medicare and Medicaid insurance providers. Individuals are asked to bring their Medicare or insurance cards.

Mobile clinic times and locations this week include:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 2 – Lingle Senior Center, 9 to 11 a.m.; Ft. Laramie Senior Center, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 3 – Torrington Senior Center, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday, Oct. 4 – Bell Park Towers, 9:30 a.m.; Evergreen Court, 10:30 a.m.; Goshen County Courthouse, 1:30 p.m.; Golden Manor, 3 p.m.
  • Friday, Oct. 5 – Goshen County Public Health, 2025 Campbell Drive, Suite 1, Torrington, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Vaccination clinics are for adults, age 18 and older. Goshen County Public Health will have children’s vaccinations available, by appointment, at the county public health office beginning Oct. 10.

Goshen County Public Health will also offer walk-in vaccination clinics at the office from 8 to 10 a.m., beginning Oct. 9, while supplies of the vaccine last.
