Sept. 28
10 a.m. – Miscellaneous code violations, officer initiated, varied locations, Torrington – Vegetation, weed violations, filthy premises.
1:21 p.m. – Abandoned vehicle, call to Torrington Police Department, Torrington – Gray Durango parked east of child care w/ temp tag; Reportedly parked there several day broken down.
2:15 p.m. – Burglary, Main Street, Torrington – Storage units behind Valley Plumbing broken in to.
3:20 p.m. – Assist the public, call to TPD, Torrington – Caller wanting to report fraud; No additional information provided.
3:53 p.m. – Civil problem, Deer Creek Road, Fort Laramie – Caller reported a neighbor has restricted access to their pasture with a road block to keep hunters off the property; East of Deer Creek Road and Rimrock Road intersection, south side of road.
4:39 p.m. – Suspicious person, East 17th Ave., Torrington – Caller reported an individual who is not permitted on the property, per the landlord; Caller asked the subject be contacted and told to stay away; Subject was reported at the picnic table at the Maverick station with backpacks.
4:53 p.m. – Assist the public, East K Street, Torrington – Woman called Dispatch Center to request electric service reconnected; When caller was told the amount of the unpaid bill, reportedly screamed, “What? My bill is not that much.” Caller said she’d have to call her husband.
8:28 p.m. – Animal call, State Hwy. 92, Torrington – Caller advised there was a calf in the river, said he didn’t know directions or the roads in the area, but knew it was south of Torrington on the Huntley Highway. Caller was asked to hold for another call, said he’d call back. Caller never called back.
10:35 p.m. – Disturbance, Hillcrest Drive, Torrington – Caller said her husband will not leave her alone, keeps following her; Caller said it started with a computer affair.
Sept. 29
4:33 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 28th Avenue and Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported kids messing with the church; one in a pink shirt and the remainder in black hoodies.
10:06 a.m. – Assist the public, East 20th Street, Torrington – Caller advised her parents received a scam telephone call, requested to speak with an officer.
10:10 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West B Street, Torrington – Caller reported seeing people outside his window after dark several times.
2:11 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Laramie Street, Torrington – Report of a vehicle parked in the lot near the water tower; subject appeared to be urinating outside the vehicle, was sleeping inside when caller reported, stating observed “strange behavior.”
4:45 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 54, Torrington – Caller reported issues with their daughter’s social media account; reportedly shows photos of the residence with inappropriate remarks; caller reported several vehicles driving back and forth past the residence.
8:49 p.m. – Disturbance, Campbell Drive, Torrington – Caller said he wanted to see his son, said hospital staff threatened to call the police on him, so he decided to call first; Sounds like he may be intoxicated, according to report.
Sept. 30
6:19 a.m. – Disturbance, U.S. Hwy. 85, Yoder – Caller reported being assaulted by another man because the caller got the other man’s girlfriend’s phone number.
1:40 p.m. – Assault, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported his son pushed his father down the stairs at his residence; Victim is injured but drove himself to a sister’s residence in Morrill, Neb., refusing to seek medical assistance and refusing to talk to police.
11:05 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 27th Avenue and West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported young people playing at the park; Caller believes it is too late for them to be playing on the zip line.
