Aug. 24
3:15 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Niobrara Street, Torrington – Report of someone trying to break into a car.
5:55 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported finding screen door broken and front door open on the residence when arriving home; reported apparently nothing missing; intruder “touched stuff.”
8:18 p.m. – Grass fire, U.S. Hwy. 26, Lingle – Report lightning struck a utility pole and in a field.

Aug. 25
1:27 p.m. – Animal call, U.S. Hwy. 85, LaGrange – Black cow in the ditch on the west side of the road grazing.
3:57 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller said he forgot his wallet at the gas station and it was gone when he returned.
5:45 p.m. – Assault, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported their brother was assaulted; no additional information
provided.
10:02 p.m. – Animal call, officer-initiated, Lingle-Veteran Road, Lingle – Cow in road.

2:35 p.m. – Assist the public, to Torrington Police Dept. – Reporting person was concerned about a letter they received in

the mail.
8:10 p.m. – Prowler, North Brooke Avenue, Fort Laramie – Report of someone in the alley behind the fort building across the street from the bar.
10:30 p.m. – Prowler, North Lawton Avenue, Fort Laramie – No further information
provided.

9:01 a.m. – Assist the public, North Laramie Avenue, Fort Laramie – Caller stated they had information for a deputy regarding an incident the previous evening.

9:16 a.m. – Truancy, East B Street, Torrington – Follow up for Trail Elementary.
10:35 a.m. – Violation of city water use, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – Water
violation.

Aug. 29
1:21 a.m. – Violation of city water use, East C Street, Torrington – Water violation.
2:08 p.m. – Assist the public, West B Street, Torrington – Report of an apparent consolidation loan scam.
2:26 p.m. – Weed violation, officer initiated at Bighorn Street, Torrington – Unable to complete incident.
3:16 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Main Street, Torrington – Someone hit the pole in the parking lot and drove off.
9:13 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West A Street and West 26th Avenue, Torrington – Silver Ford Fiesta “racing up and down the street” with no headlights.
10:01 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East F Street, Torrington – Report of two men in the outfield with a flashlight and a big dog, were digging a hole.
11:05 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to T.P.D., Torrington – Caller passing on information about drugs.

8:25 a.m. – Animal call, State Hwy. 154, Veteran – Neighbor’s cattle on caller’s hay field; ongoing issue.
9:05 a.m. – Weed violations, officer initiated at Haines Street, Torrington – Unable to complete incident.
10:53 a.m. – Sign ordinance, Officer initiated at Main Street, Torrington – Removing signs from poles.
8:07 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported a note found on their car; seemed kind of suspicious.
