Sept. 7

12:28 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Campbell Drive, Torrington – Report of a 90-year-old female fled the medical unit at Community Hospital after learning she would be transferred to the nursing home; Woman was last seen wearing a hospital gown.

6:30 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Report of a gray Ford Mustang in the parking lot for the past hour; driver is slumped over the steering wheel.

6:59 a.m. – Assist the public, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported the driver’s side door of their vehicle is covered in soda; requested extra patrol.

9:51 a.m. – Disturbance, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported an employee who was trying to fight with them.

11:38 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East K Street, Torrington – Caller returned home to find their front door open; not immediately known if anything was taken.

11:43 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Report that “one of the vehicles by the bleachers is plastic wrapped pretty good.”

Sept. 8

12 a.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller asked to speak to someone regarding photographs posted on social media showing starving animals and horses with severe infections.

5:42 a.m. – Animal call, West A Street, Torrington – Caller reported a porcupine in their yard that attacked their dogs.

9:04 a.m. – Harassment, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported being harassed by a neighbor; requested assistance dealing with the situation.

11:35 a.m. – Suspicious circumstance, Torrington City Hall – Talk to caller referencing scam telephone calls being place on behalf of the city of Torrington.

12:36 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – A caller said she thought there were two males in the area she believed were making “threatening gestures” toward her because of her political position.

3:46 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 66, Torrington – Report of apparent scam telephone calls from someone purporting to be with the Department of the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service.

6:55 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a customer at the business earlier in the day had forgotten their debit card; Customer was reportedly coming from Cheyenne to retrieve the card, “cussing and yelling about being reimbursed for her gas.”

10:28 p.m. – Harassment, West A Street, Torrington – Caller reported being threatened by their roommate’s mother and family via text message and vandalism/egging of their car; The call said she’s moving out of the house and has several items go missing.

Sept. 9

6:40 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 6th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported his girlfriend texted, threatening to “burn his house and ruin his stuff” following a fight the previous evening.

7:22 p.m. – Disturbance, Sage Drive, Torrington – Caller reported the neighbor behind them has been shooting a gun; Neighbor reportedly has been a problem in the past, advises it is “disturbing his peace.”

Sept. 10

2:41 a.m. – Disturbance, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported neighbors across the street are yelling at each other.

8:11 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Fremont Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported people at the soccer fields, setting up with “loud music.”

8:17 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Converse Street, Torrington – Report of an eight-year-old boy walking without shoes, crying because he “can’t find his dad.”

9:19 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – Caller claimed boyfriend broke out the window of the car the previous evening.

9:47 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported a younger-looking male sitting under a tree near the old Eastern Wyoming College Cosmetology Building, yelling; Said the man seemed very upset.

10:57 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 19th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported previous tenants had moved but not had the mail forwarded; Neighborhood children are reportedly taking the mail, tearing it up and throwing it all over the yard.

12:53 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, East Bliss Street, Fort Laramie – Caller reported a suspicious blue car trespassing; said they think occupants “on drugs.”

8:31 p.m. – Assist the public, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported she owns a vehicle with her boyfriend, who’s removed the license plates and registration, following a disagreement.

Sept 11

12:19 a.m. – Disturbance, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported her boyfriend broke into their home and stole her phone; Boyfriend had reportedly left the residence, possibly headed toward South Torrington, with the phone.

3:57 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Report of larceny of a wallet at Torrington High School.

5:10 p.m. – Assist the public, East J Street, Torrington – Caller reported kids running down the middle of the street with no supervision.

7:30 p.m. – Assist the public, Road 53D, Torrington – Caller reported a father, son and extended family members threatened a woman; The call said they did not like how the issue was handled, said the men have guns and threatened to kill the woman and no one addressed the issue.

9:21 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Freimuth Avenue, Lingle – Caller reported there may be someone in their home; Reportedly a woman was stuck in a window.

Sept. 12

11:16 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill.

11:26 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a customer gave the business a counterfeit $100 bill.

5:11 a.m. – Medical aid, East Valley Road, Torrington – Report of a 40-year-old female, texting while walking, who tripped and fell, injuring her ankle.

*37 p.m. – Disturbance, reported to Torrington Police Department – Report of a woman on the side of the road appeared to be intoxicated; Caller said he picked her up and she tried to leave his vehicle in motion; Reported she was attempting to run in front of traffic and time of call.

Sept. 13

11:11 a.m. – Vandalism, East K Street, Torrington – Caller reported the padlocks had been cut off all the storage units.

2:51 p.m. – Larceny, East K Street, Torrington – Report of theft from storage unit.

6:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 53D, Torrington – Caller complained he has a male relative living in the Torrington area who’s being abused by his wife and police not doing anything about it.
