Aug. 31
5:48 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Haines Street, Torrington – Caller reported the woman next door banging on the house and screaming; believed she may be drunk.
7:54 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported a stool stolen from the office.
8:37 a.m. – Animal call, Main Street and Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported concerns about feral kittens at the location; Caller said they’d been watching them, one calico and one tiger stripped, near the railroad tracks; Requested someone to walk the area and try to locate the kittens; They were gone
on arrival.
12:22 p.m. – Suspicious circumstance, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a recorded marketing call from a resort; Said they knew it was a scam and wished to inform officials.
12:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 47, Yoder – Missing hay.
6:35 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East M Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding child being bullied at school.
8:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported numerous telephone calls from unidentified person; Has been swearing at the caller and threatening to shoot him; Caller would like it to stop.

Sept. 1
9:44 a.m. – Burglary, North Brooke Avenue, Ft. Laramie – Caller reported someone broke in; they have a list of items and the people “touched things.” Human waste left in the toilet.
11:07 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East G Street, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a telephone call stating she ordered 100 pizzas; Caller said it sounded like a prank.
12:42 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, West 20th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported a green Honda sedan, possibly stolen; said the driver was acting strange, pulled up while the caller was fueling, said they had to “hot-wire” the vehicle and now couldn’t shut it off; The driver also started yelling at the caller after they came out of the gas station.
7:16 p.m. – Disturbance, East 5th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported neighbors fighting; Approximately six people involved, weapons unknown.

8:08 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East C Street, Torrington – Caller said they received information their 20 year old grandson had hit his mother after being confronted about a possible incestuous relationship with a cousin.

Sept. 2
7:51 a.m. – Suspicious person, Main Street, Torrington – Unidentified person wearing shorts, a sweatshirt and a white ball cap, stopping cars and asking for rides.
7:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 5th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported two women in her home threatening to beat her up.
11:07 p.m. – Disturbance, Linda Vista Road, Torrington – Caller reported a loud pool party, somewhere on Linda Vista Road.

Sept. 3
1:17 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Call to Torrington Police – Requested call-back by person with concerns over local bartenders over-serving patrons.
7:59 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Monte Vista Road, Torrington – Caller reported their house and truck were egged the previous evening.
6:19 p.m. – Vandalism, West 17th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported their and a neighbor’s vehicles were egged the previous evening; Requested extra patrol of the area.
11:05 p.m. – Disturbance, East J Street, Torrington – Caller reportedly fighting verbally and physically with a neighbor; Requested assistance getting rid of her.

Sept. 4
9:37 p.m. – Prowler, Cottonwood Terrace, Torrington – Caller reported they could hear someone on the patio; reported a motion-sensitive light came on but could not hear any vehicles.
11:24 p.m. – Welfare check, Center Park, Lyman – Caller said her son left the residence several hours ago; Was supposed to come to Torrington and had not returned home; Caller wanted to be sure he wasn’t in jail or in a motor vehicle accident.
Sept. 5
8:17 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, U.S. Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Report of vehicle “spinning cookies” in the parking lot and broken windows; Officials have video showing suspect vehicles.
11:13 a.m. – Animal call, McKenna Road, Torrington – Welfare check on horses; Several horses, donkey and goats do not appear to be getting fed; extremely thin.
1:44 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West A Street, Torrington – Caller reported they’re watching a residence and appeared as though someone tried to break in to a shed and has broken a window.
4:47 p.m. – Animal call, West A Street, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a hand-written note, stating the city would be trapping and euthanizing cats; Note reportedly said to call Animal Control but listed the incorrect number; Caller wanted to know what’s
going on.
9:03 p.m. – Vandalism, East Main Street, Lingle – Caller reported someone dumped chewing tobacco and sunflower seeds all over their vehicle, being driven by their daughter; Reportedly occurred between 7 and 8:30 p.m.

Sept. 6
4:03 p.m. – Assist the public, via telephone to TPD, Torrington – Caller reported receiving a scam call at their office; Given web site to report it.
8:48 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East B Street, Torrington – Caller expressed concerns over the repossession of her mother’s vehicle, thought it was a scam; Verified it was a valid repossession.
8:52 p.m. – Assist the public, East C Street, Torrington – Caller reported his daughter was fighting with her boyfriend in Gering; After caller went to get his daughter, reportedly receiving threats to property and family; requested extra patrol.
10:29 p.m. – Harassment, via telephone to TPD, Torrington – Caller reported continued harassment; Subject is going to caller’s friends, saying stuff and is posting derogatory information on social media; Issue has been reported multiple time, wants subject cited for harassment.
