Oct. 19
2:27 a.m. – Assist the public, High Plains Apts., Torrington – Woman caller requested assistance getting her underage daughter, who reportedly snuck out of the house, back from an apartment in the complex.
8:58 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Bomb threat by mail.
12:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West A Street, Torrington – Bloedorn Rental reported a UHaul missing or not returned.
3:34 p.m. – Assault, East 17th Street, Torrington – Caller reported her son had been assaulted the previous evening.
4:13 p.m. – Trespass, West 14th Street, Torrington – Unidentified person trying to break a window on callers vehicle to take it; Caller requested person not be arrested, just to be told to leave and not return.
Oct. 20
3:14 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Bighorn Street, Torrington – Caller reported two people arguing loudly, possibly intoxicated; Caller was unsure of the address of the home but it had a big green city dumpster in front.
12:34 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported a check written from his account not written by him; Reportedly has a copy of the check.
4:09 p.m. – Assist the public, East C Street, Torrington – Caller reported his rifle discharged when he was cleaning it; He was unaware there was a round in the chamber; Muzzle pointed at the ground when fired.
7:59 p.m. Traffic violation, U.S. Hwy. 85, LaGrange – Wheelbarrow in the north–east bound lane.
Oct. 21
9:22 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 29th Avenue, Torrington – Scam reportedly from Dish Network; Caller said they had an “uncomfortable” amount of personal information; Caller gave their credit card information.
3:47 p.m. – Disturbance, East C Street, Torrington – Caller reported their son has drugs in his car.
7:54 p.m. – Disturbance, East H Street, Torrington – Caller reported the people in the apartment above stomping around and making loud noises; Caller said the last time he tried to speak to them about the noise they claimed he was threatening them.
11:19 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East L Street, Torrington – Tip on a party with minor
attending.
Oct. 22
12:29 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported a “man at the bar looking for trouble.” Reportedly wearing plaid jacket and cowboy hat, in the alley behind the bar, requested officers ask him to leave.
5:09 p.m. – Vandalism, College Drive, Torrington – Two windows on a car were broken; near
dentist office.
10:42 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – People taking mattress and box spring from back of store.
Oct. 23
12:08 a.m. – Alarm, Main Street, Torrington – Glass broken on front northwest corner of
building.
7:51 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported pumpkins in the street, rocks moved, lights broken, appears someone trashed the front of the building.
3:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East H Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone on East H Street near the pool; Unidentified person allegedly removed plates from another vehicle and placed them on their vehicle to drive with.
7:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, unknown address, Torrington – Caller reported several teenagers ran into the Kelly Bean building.
Oct. 24
3:54 p.m. – Assist the public, Buena Vista Road, Torrington – Caller was very concerned about a computer scam call; requested to speak to
an officer.
Oct. 25
7:03 a.m. – Disturbance, East Valley Road, Torrington – Caller reported a customer at the drive–thru window yelling and causing problems.
9:13 a.m. – Assist the public, West 14th Avenue, Torrington – Caller complained the two lots east of their home has accumulated a “junk yard” and dogs at the property are kenneled day and night.
12:51 p.m. – Civil problem, High Plains Apts., Torrington – Caller reported issues with her ex boyfriend regarding a television; Requested to speak with an officer.
10:23 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller stated they needed someone removed from the bar; Call was disconnected before additional information could be gathered.
