July 13
9:46 a.m. – Parking complaint, East E Street, Torrington – Vehicle blocking driveway.
12:20 p.m. – Animal call, Main Street, Torrington – Report of a male subject beating a dog outside his home; 14-15 year old male, left residence with a friend on skateboards.
12:44 p.m. – Sign ordinance, East Valley Road, Torrington – Report of person taking a sign off a pole.
1:38 p.m. – Suspicious person, East D Street, Torrington – Two skateboarders.
2:18 p.m. – Log information, Road 60, Torrington – Caller reported receipt of an apparent scam call from the U.S. Treasurer; requested it be documented.
3:03 p.m. – Log information, State Hwy. 92, Torrington – Caller requested documentation of apparent scam calls; Said received 14 this month.
3:42 p.m. – Log information, Torrington – Large female wearing pink, tight tank top and jeans; Told caller she was looking to buy property for the homeless, but caller said they felt she was “casing the place;” Requested report logged “in case something happens.”
9:26 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Hwy. 85, LaGrange – Report of vehicle vs. deer; Deer in roadway, no injuries.

July 14
10:32 a.m. – Violate city water use ordinance – Laramie Street, Torrington – Completed.
10:35 a.m. – Violate city water use ordinance – Fremont Avenue, Torrington – Officer initiated; Completed.
7:18 p.m. – Parking complaint, East I Street, Torrington – Neighbor has unattached trailer parked in front of his home.
7:22 p.m. – Disturbance, East F Street, Torrington – Neighbors screaming and yelling at kids loudly; Been going on for some time.
10:14 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, High Street, Torrington – Downstairs neighbors smoking weed in their apartment.
11:10 – Suspicious circumstances, West C Street, Torrington – Two small boys walking past Dominos.


July 15
8:37 a.m. – Assist the public, Haines Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with an officer regarding not receiving payment from items sold and not getting the items back.
1:58 p.m. – Animal call, West E Street, Torrington – Caller reported an animal in the dumpster in the alley; It’s reportedly alive, but not sure what type of animal, because dumpster lid is closed.
4:08 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 15th Avenue, Torrington – People near the picnic area smoking weed.
10:09 p.m. – Animal Call, East 28th Avenue and East D Street, Torrington – Caller said they thought they’d hit a cat with their car but when went back to look it was gone; Gave contact information in case someone calls about cat being hit and offered to assist with medical bills.

July 16
6:43 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Torrington – Caller said they’d posted a sign by the City Park for the Lions Club which was gone; Unknown subject told caller a “city worker” had taken the sign down; Requested further information.
12 p.m. – Harassment, East C Street, Torrington – Caller reported problems with an ex harassing them by text message; Requested to speak with an officer.
9:54 p.m. – Animal call, East A Street, Torrington – Caller reported a rattlesnake in the parking lot on the north side of the Library.

July 17
9:41 a.m. – Animal call, West C Street, Torrington – Caller thinks raccoons are coming into the home; Requested to speak with animal control.
1:01 p.m. – Assist the public, Torrington – Caller advised on the current location of their brother who is reportedly wanted on warrants.
1:39 p.m. – Log information, Torrington – Caller reporting apparent scam telephone calls regarding a resort; Requested to document the information.
5:47 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, Fremont Avenue, Torrington – Report of a hit and run; Victim requested to make a report.
6:53 p.m. – Suspicious vehicle, Main Street, Torrington – Report of a maroon van sitting in from of a business with someone holding a sign.
10:42 p.m. – Assist the public, East F Street, Torrington – Caller requested help from an officer with getting their shorts on.

July 18
9:58 a.m. – Dumpster fire, East F Street, Torrington – Fire in unknown room.
11:12  a.m. – Violation of city water use ordinance, High Plains Apartments, College Drive, Torrington.
11:29 a.m. – Filthy premises, West B Street, Torrington – Tree branches piled in yard.
12:13 p.m. – Sign ordinance, Main Street, Torrington – Removed and disposed of ice tea sign.
12:46 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reported a maroon Toyota with two children, parked in the parking lot telling people they are broken down; Caller said it was suspicious because same children were there a couple of weeks ago, doing the same thing.
10:30 p.m. – Assist the public, West 20th Avenue, Torrington – Report of a gray Jeep with a girl parked in front of the Taco Johns, using the wireless internet.
10:49 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West B Street, Torrington – Caller reported numerous people across the street, being loud and parking in front of his home; Caller reported lots of drinking.

July 19
8:09 a.m. – Animal Call, U.S. Hwy. 85, Torrington – Caller reported a horse walking along the highway south of city limits with a fly mask on.
12:49 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East G Street, Torrington – Caller advised they were scammed online; Unidentified company using caller’s information.
4:29 p.m. – Larceny East 24th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported their bike was stolen and later found at the Moose Lodge; Caller said they went to retrieve the bike and unknown subject drove off with in the back of their truck.
