Jan. 25
6:07 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 11th Avenue, Torrington – Caller said they think they hear gunfire frequently between 4 and 6 a.m. coming from the direction of the gun range; Unable to complete incident.
8:13 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 11th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported an unidentified person was threatening to burn a building and was demanding his dogs.
11:28 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East F Street, Torrington – Caller reported they smelled what appeared to be burning plastic on the east side of town, but were seeing smoke to the north.
11:53 a.m. – Snow removal violations, High Plains Apartments, College Drive – Caller reported sidewalks hadn’t been shoveled; reported seeing a woman slip and fall.
5:23 p.m. – Civil problem, Haines Street, Torrington – Caller requested office for standby while retrieving belongings from residence; Caller said they’d be walking to the residence from Land of Goshen Ministries.
6:18 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East A Street, Torrington – Caller said they were concerned regarding a person knocking on their mother’s door.
6:56 p.m. – Motor vehicle accident, East G Street, Torrington – Caller reported an apparent hit-and-run on their garage door; appeared to have been hit by a car.
8:39 p.m. – Disturbance, Haines Street, Torrington – Report of a disturbance in the street; caller said they could hear yelling and it appeared an individual was being thrown out.

Jan. 26
3:18 a.m. – Open door or window, Main Street, Torrington – Officer initiated, found open back door; cleared and secured building.
8:39 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 25th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reported four boys in a white car appeared to be smoking marijuana; car left apparently headed toward the high school.

10:24 a.m. – Traffic violations, Main Street, Torrington – Report of an elderly female with gray hair, driving a small, white passenger vehicle, northbound in the wrong lane; vehicle was gone on arrival of police.
1:37 p.m. – Traffic hazard, Main Street, Torrington – Semi-tractor-trailer combination stuck, blocking both southbound and one northbound traffic lane.
2:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone entered the residence and stole a lock box containing “a lot of cash” and a car title.

Jan. 27
8:19 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Report of a possible attempted break-in at a blue house on the east side of the road.
10 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Reporting person came to Torrington Police Department; said she was at a friend’s residence last night and now they wouldn’t return her property.
12:22 p.m. – Assist the public, East 11th Avenue, Torrington – A lady came to the shelter to look at cats she thought were hers; They weren’t, but she went home with two anyway.
2:24 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 17th Avenue, Torrington – Caller said they think someone tried to break in to their car; caller said they were taking pictures and they thought someone broke the window.
5:13 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to Torrington Police Dept., Torrington – Caller reported concerns regarding their underage daughter and an older male subject.
Jan. 28
2:41 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 19th Avenue, Torrington – Caller requested to speak with an officer, referencing items caller claimed were being stolen from their place of work.
4:32 p.m. – Assist the public, call to TPD, Torrington – Caller reported receiving alleged scam text messages; requested to show them to
an officer.

Jan. 29
6:18 a.m. – Motor vehicle accident, U.S. Hwy. 26-85, Torrington – Caller reported hitting a bag of goose decoys on the highway.
4:29 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Report of a white van, sitting on the east side of the building; caller believed driver might be intoxicated.

Jan. 30
10:28 a.m. – Assist the public, Road 47/Buttermilk Road, Torrington – Caller reported a large white truck dumped manure all over the road.

Jan. 31
9:11 a.m. – Assist the public, Call to TPD, Torrington – Caller had questions referencing alleged stalking at the Post Office an on the subject’s mail route.
11:47 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Custer Street, Fort Laramie – Caller reported a telephone call; caller said “Sorry, wrong number,” then house phone quit working.
3:12 p.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller requested to make a complaint about “how her child was treated.” No further information.
