Aug. 3
5:42 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East Valley Road, Torrington – Possible larceny.
7:32 a.m. – Animal call, West A Street, Torrington – Report of three opossums, adult and two juvenile, attempting to attack caller and dogs.
8:41 a.m. – Animal call, U.S. Hwy. 26/85, Torrington – Report of a pen of roping steers in back of the Sunshine Arena, reportedly very thin. Water and hay in area but caller said never fed to them.
10:04 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Crest Drive, Torrington – Caller reported a neighbor is dumping trash on their property; caller would not be home until after noon but requested a deputy stop by at that time.
2:14 p.m. – Assist the public, to Torrington Police Dept. – Caller, a Scottsbluff, Neb., resident, requested information on open carry legality.
2:44 p.m. – Assist the public, Albany Avenue, Torrington – Caller complained neighbor parking wherever he wants to with a truck leaking oil; caller said they’ve confronted the neighbor previously and requested to speak with an officer.
4:31 p.m. – Assist the public, Road 25H, Lingle – Caller said going to sell a weapon that has a history attached to it, has question regarding the sale.
4:52 p.m. – Animal call, East 20th Avenue, Torrington – Caller said they took a sheep inside and slaughtered it; had questions about legality of doing so within the city limits.

Aug. 4
1:27 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East E Street, Torrington – Possible stolen bicycle.
2:19 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 20th Avenue, Torrington – Caller reportedly working in the theater, believed two men were trying to break into the building; Unknown if subjects are still in area.
1:38 p.m. – Animal call, West A Street, Torrington – Caller complained about a neighbor’s dog barking
2:01 p.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reportedly bought a car from their daughter, requesting to speak to an officer regarding issues with the sale.
3:49 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, to TPD, Torrington – Caller said two men with a large dog keep going back and forth in front of her home, letting the dog run in her yard; Said when she came out of the house to confront them, they left.
7:13 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 45V, Torrington – Caller reported a white Suburban with Colorado license; four or five men in the vehicle, reportedly going door-to-door trying to get people to let them shampoo their carpets.

Aug. 5
2:25 a.m. – Assault, West C Street, Torrington – Caller reported being assaulted in the park; other party reportedly left for a residence in
the area.
10:22 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Freimuth Avenue, Lingle – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding harassing comments.
6:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 47, Torrington – Caller said there were people in her home.

Aug. 6
12:22 p.m. – Larceny, Main Street, Torrington – Caller reportedly had their purse stolen the previous evening at the bar; Possible suspect bringing the purse back to the bar.
2:07 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East B Street, Torrington – Caller reported someone keyed their car.
2:51 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Call to TPD, Torrington – Possible sexual assault.
5:58 p.m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding text her boyfriend was allegedly receiving at the time her car was being keyed.
10:19 p.m. – Disturbance, U.S. Hwy. 85, Hawk Springs – Report of two customers who won’t leave the bar after being requested to do so; Caller alleged they were insulting other customers.

Aug. 7
8:14 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Call to TPD, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding unknown subject driving by his parents home yelling cuss words.
10:29 a.m. – Assist the public, Call to TPD, Torrington – Request to speak to an officer regarding a Kirby purchase.
2:17 p.m. – Forgery, Call to TPD, Torrington – Report of fraudulent checks.
5:15 p/m. – Assist the public, East B Street, Torrington – Caller requesting information regarding getting their phone back from evidence.
5:51 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 3rd Street, Torrington – Caller reported children have been harassing her and swearing at her.
8:32 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Main Street, Torrington – Male acting strange.

Aug. 8
8:18 a.m. – Violation of city water use, West 15th Avenue, Torrington.
8:58 a.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East J Street, Torrington – Caller reported an adult male is allegedly sending inappropriate texts to his 13 year old daughter; requested to speak to
an officer.
1:27 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East C Street, Torrington – Caller reported intoxicated people keep going onto the property.
4:17 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East 5th Avenue, Torrington – Caller said a male with multiple tattoos pointed a BB gun at her as she was delivering food, then shot at neighborhood dogs with the BB gun.
4:39 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, East N Street, Torrington – Caller reported people at the location defaced her car.
4:50 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, Road 52, Torrington – Caller reported their ex was on the property after being told to notify if he was coming over; allegedly broke into the house, took some things and left
a dog.

Aug. 9
11:04 a.m. – Found property report, Road 70Y, Torrington – Reporting a bicycle caller thinks may belong to a previous tenant, or someone else.
6:40 p.m. – Harassment, Call to TPD, Torrington – Caller requested to speak to an officer regarding unidentified subject harassing her.
6:54 p.m. – Suspicious circumstances, West 26th Avenue, Torrington – Report of children on a roof shooting BB’s at people as they go by.
