Playlists add to national park experience

TORRINGTON – A new way to experience some of the nation’s most prominent parks has arrived in the form of a music playlist.
DesignBro, an online graphic design marketplace, has created playlists on Spotify for 10 national parks including Yellowstone for people to listen to on their next road trip. Each playlist is accompanied by an album cover art of the park which is described as “Edward Hopper-esque,” who was a 20th century painter known for his watercolor and oil paintings of landscapes. Each cover captures a specific feature of the park as Yellowstone’s is the Grand Prismatic Spring.
According to the article about the playlists by DesignBro co-founder Pieter-Jan Hoogendijk, Yellowstone’s is meant to capture the history and beauty of the park.

“As the first national park, Yellowstone deserves a place of honor, and this playlist reflects the wild, majestic landscape found within the park.” Hoogendijk stated. “With a rich history to match its surreal landscape, Yellowstone is popular for good reason. From natural wonders to wild animals, visiting Yellowstone is an awesome experience, and this playlist will help you remember every special sight.”
Each playlist consists of 10 songs and run from 35 minutes to one hour.
Other playlists include Acadia National Park in Maine, Everglades National Park in Florida, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park, Crater Lake National Park in Oregon, Olympic National Park in Washington, Zion National Park in Utah, Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, Joshua Tree National Park in California and Glacier National Park in Montana.
