Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church in Torrington.

Pat was born in the family home in Scottsbluff, Nebraska on June 24, 1941, to Henry and Katherine (Green) Rieb, the third of six children. She attended elementary school in a small country school then moved on to attend other schools in Morrill, finally graduating from Lyman, Nebraska high school in 1959.

After graduation she attended airline flight attendant school in Kansas City, Missouri. Upon deciding she really didn’t want to be a “flying waitress,” she moved to Cheyenne, where she lived with two of her closest friends from high school.

In 1961, Pat met Thomas (Andy) Anderson, a handsome, young Air Force man from California who was stationed at Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne. The couple had a whirlwind romance and Pat married the love of her life in November 1962. In 1963, they were blessed with their first son, Scotty. After Andy completed his time with the Air Force, they moved to Andy’s hometown of Santa Monica, California for approximately one year before moving to Henry, Nebraska then Morrill, Nebraska.

Eventually, the couple moved back to California where Andy was raised. In 1966, they were blessed with another son, Tommy. After years in California, the family moved to Colorado and eventually settled into their long-term home in Brighton, Colorado where Pat remained for the rest of her life.

Pat experienced a variety of work opportunities in her life. Raised on the farm, she worked in the onion, bean, potato and beet fields alongside her mom and sisters. In her adulthood she continued to work as a bank employee, a legal secretary, worked in a movie theatre, was employed by the Department of Motor Vehicles and finally ending her career as co-owner/office manager of Rebar Placing Inc. along with her husband and family friend.

Pat enjoyed cooking, crocheting, embroidering, quilting, canning fruits and vegetables, reading a good mystery book, going to rodeos at Cheyenne Frontier Days and Las Vegas Finals along with many other activities.

Pat was welcomed into Heaven by her parents Hank and Kate; brother Ronnie, mother-in-law Frances, brother-in-law Terry Lofink and many other family members and friends.

Left to cherish Pat’s memory are her devoted husband of 58 years, Andy of Brighton, Colorado; her sons Scotty Anderson and Tommy (Karen) Anderson of Commerce City, Colorado; granddaughters Lexi (Cal) Hanks of Arvada, Colorado and Kenna Anderson of Ft. Collins, Colorado; brother Marvin (Virginia) Rieb of Torrington, sisters Carol Lofink of Torrington, Nancy (Roy) Brewer of Onalaska, Wisconsin, Cindi (Kim) Griggs of Johnstown, Colorado, and brother-in-law Bill Anderson of Agoura Hills, California along with numerous relatives and friends.
