Pamela was born May 21, 1956, in Richmond, Calif., the daughter of Doyle and Joan (Duff) Parmenter. She graduated from Berthoud High School in 1975. Pam married the love of her life, Steve, on Nov. 29, 1975. To this union they were blessed with four children: Amie Jo, Matthew Steven, Amanda Lynn and David Ross. They lived in Torrington together all of their 41 years.
Pam worked alongside her husband at Heilbrun’s Parts Store until she stayed home to raise her family. After the children were all in school, she worked at different jobs in Torrington. She was active in her children’s 4-H events, Sunday school, Awana and most recently attended SonRise Church where she enjoyed teaching the SonKids! Her greatest work was sharing her faith in the Lord. She was so happy to go on three mission Trips to Costa Rica as to share the Bible with the people there. There wasn’t anywhere she went that people didn’t know
her faith.
Pam was the most wonderful “Grandma Pam” to her eight amazing grandchildren. She was always there when she needed to be. Always taking care of her kids and grandchildren and always taking care of anyone who needed her.
She is survived by her husband Steve; her children, Amie (Ryan) Reuter and their children Avery and Addison of Minatare, Neb.; Matthew (BethAnne) Heilbrun and their children Chase and Keelyn of Torrington, Amanda (Keith) Allison and their daughter Ashlynn of Gordon, Neb.; David (Christie) Heilbrun and their children Erica, Jamie, and Josiah of Gillette; her parents Doyle and Joan of Gering, Neb.; her brother Rick; her sister Cindy and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She also has many special friends who spent countless hours by
her side.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, mother in law and father in law.
She is now “walking the streets of gold.” Love you long
time mom.
