A trucker transporting a 245,000-pound compressor ran into trouble Wednesday south of Lingle on State Highway 156. The oversize load was too large to cross a bridge over the North Platte River, and during an attempt to turn around, the entire rig became stuck across the highway. As of Wednesday evening, the truck had been there several hours with no end in sight. Wyoming Highway Patrol was on scene assisting and redirecting traffic.
