TORRINGTON – Everyone has struggled at one time or another, especially around the holidays. The Telegram’s goal is to help those in need. This year, we intend to provide help to those in-need with groceries from Main Street Market and gas from Ty’s Pit Stop. Whether one needs groceries during the holidays, or gas to get home to family, the Telegram wants to help.
In 2020, the Telegram started Operation Christmas Blessings to help those who were having a rough time during COVID; the team at the Telegram wanted to aid with groceries during the holiday season.
Things are still not the best, so we, along with our generous donors and sponsors, would like to continue Operation Christmas Blessings for 2022.
If you know of someone or you are struggling this year, please email us contact information to hhaffner@torringtontelegram.com or message our Facebook page. The Telegram will call everyone we can help during the week of Christmas. Those contact will then receive their gift certificates to Main Street Market or Ty’s Pit Stop from the Telegram.
We would like to take a moment to extend an immense amount of gratitude to our sponsors: Main Street Market, Ty’s Pitstop, Century Lumber, 307 Sports Bar & Grill, Premier Properties, Broncho Grillhouse & Bar, Bloedorn Lumber and Torrington Cinemas.
