Miller receives Butler Order of the Gold

EL DORADO, Kan. – Paul David Miller III of Torrington was recognized as one of the Order of the Gold Graduates recently during spring commencement exercises at Butler Community College here.
Miller graduated May 15 with a degree in agriculture. He maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average to earn the award.
The Order of the Gold celebrates outstanding academic achievement by its students. Of the 2017 graduates, 31 were inducted into the Order of
the Gold.
The college Board of Trustees created the Order of the Gold award in 1985 to recognize students who maintain a 4.0 total grade point average. Students who have completed 30 hours at Butler and achieved a 4.0 GPA are honored as Order of the Gold.
These students are inducted into Order of the Purple at a ceremony the evening before Commencement and receive a medallion before the ceremony and recognition during the Commencement ceremony.
