TORRINGTON – With the onset of an early winter storm predicted to settle into the area beginning Wednesday and slated to continue through Thursday and into Friday, the Board of Directors of the Torrington Farmers Market have decided to cancel the market this Thursday, Oct. 10. The market will resume on Thursday, Oct. 17.
The Goshen County Soup Cook-off, which was also scheduled to be held at the market this week, has been postponed to next Thursday, Oct. 17.
