LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Lois (Hunter) Hageman passed away Oct. 8, 2021 in Lakewood. She was born to Ellsworth and Marion Hunter in Hastings, Nebraska Sept. 19, 1926.
In her younger years, the family moved to Fullerton, Nebraska and then to Neligh, Nebraska.
In 1939, they moved to Scottsbluff where she graduated from Scottsbluff High School, class of 1943.
She was married to Roy Sandberg from October 1948 to October 1973. They moved from Gering to Denver in 1957.
In October 1978, she married Wayne Hageman in Casper, Wyoming. They moved to Torrington in 2000. After Wayne passed, she ended up in a senior care facility in Lakewood.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne, brother, C.E. (Bud) Hunter and infant son, Roger Sandberg.
She is survived by three sons, Mike Sandberg of Dumfries, Virginia, Doug Sandberg of Arvada and Jim Sandberg of Gering, Nebraska, their families, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was a loving mother and grandmother, and we will miss her greatly.
