TORRINGTON – Ten local volleyball players earned postseason awards which were announced on Tuesday.
The Southeast Lady Cyclones led the way with five all-conference and two all-state performers.
Senior Becca Foos and junior Jordan Stoddard finished with Class 1A All-State honors, helping lead the Lady Cyclones to a fifth-place performance at last week’s state tournament in Casper.
Foos was also named SEWAC Player of the Year, while Southeast coach Roxanne Jolovich was named Coach of the Year.
The duo was also named to both the 1A East and SEWAC All-Conference teams, joining sophomores Sydney Anderson, Kealy Carson, Brenna Herring on the all-conference team.
The Lingle-Fort Laramie Lady Doggers also had a trio of players on the all-conference team – junior Tiah Meyer, sophomore Baylee Skinner and freshman Natalie Speckner.
In Class 3A, the Torrington High School Lady Blazer senior setter Morgan Bates and junior outside hitter Reece Halley were named to the East All-Conference team.
