TORRINGTON – The Goshen County Library recently received $4,000 from Goshen Economic Development’s (GED) Progress Program.
According to a press release from GED, the funds have been used to update and purchase computer equipment for use by library patrons. The public can use these computers while the library
The release said the library also purchased a new Wi-Fi router to boost signal. Now, the library’s internet can be accessed at all times from the parking lot.
“Goshen County Library is an asset to our community, county and these purchases will benefit all users,” read the release.
Progress Program funds are from one-fourth cent sales tax for economic development.
