LFL reschedules three basketball games; EWC, Southeast also reschedule games

LINGLE – With the recent round of winter weather which moved through the area over the weekend, most of the weekend sporting events were put on hold.

The list of postponements were many for Lingle-Fort Laramie, including Tuesday night’s Dogger basketball doubleheader in Yoder.

Also lost last week due to the weather were the weekend conference games against Burns and Pine Bluffs on Friday and Saturday.

The LFL and Burns games have been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 7 with a tipoff scheduled for 5:30 and 7 p.m. Pine Bluffs doubleheader was rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 9. Game times are set for 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Tuesday’s games against Southeast have been rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 13 in Yoder. Junior varsity boys and varsity girls play at 5 p.m., while the JV girls and varsity boys play at 6:30 p.m.

EWC reschedules CWC games

On Tuesday, the Eastern Wyoming College also announced they have rescheduled Saturday’s Central Wyoming College doubleheader for Friday, Feb. 10. The women will tip off at 5:30 p.m. with the men to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Southeast to play in Arena-Auditorium

Southeast High School announced Wednesday afternoon, they have rescheduled their games against Saratoga.

The games have been moved to Laramie and will be played inside Arena-Auditorium on the campus of the University of Wyoming.

The girls’ game is scheduled to tip off at 5 p.m. with the boys’ game to follow at 6:30 p.m.
