TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Lenora Mae Troupe, 65, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at All Saints Episcopal Church with Reverend Diane Carleton officiating. Burial will follow in the Fort Laramie Cemetery. Lenora died December 29, 2021 at Torrington Community Hospital and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to All Saints Episcopal Church. Lenora was born September 17, 1956 in Torrington, the daughter of Harold and Lenora (Wooley) Oliver. She grew up and received her education in Lingle, where she spent most of her life in the same house. She married William Troupe on November 26, 1974. She ran a child daycare for forty years. She retired in 2018 due to ill health.
Lenora enjoyed homemaking, baking, crafts, gardening (she always had an immaculate yard), and was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan and dressed accordingly on game day.
Lenora is survived by her husband Bill Troupe of Lingle; sons Levi (Kaleen) Troupe of Torrington and Will (Cori) Troupe of Cheyenne; sisters Nancy Heller of Lingle and Linda Mueller of Cheyenne; granddaughters Reagan and Mikayla; special nephews Harold and Darrell; nieces Amanda, Cassandra, Jessica and Katelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother Robert Oliver.
