LaGrange resident enlists in Wyoming Air Guard

CHEYENNE – Bridger Stoddard, of LaGrange, was sworn in Jan. 24, as the newest member of the Wyoming Air National Guard’s 153rd Maintenance Squadron.

Stoddard enlisted under a program which will provide 100 percent of tuition to in-state colleges and universities, the Montgomery G.I. Bill, Montgomery G.I. Bill Kicker and an enlistment bonus. 

He is enrolled at Southeast High School, in Yoder, and plans to continue his education at the University of Northwestern Ohio.

Lt. Col. Carl Johansen administered the oath of enlistment. Parents Tony and Cathy Stoddard, as well as sisters Jordan and Tylar Stoddard, attended the ceremony.

Before attending basic training, Stoddard will be assigned as a C-130 aircraft propulsion mechanic.
