Rawlins handed Torrington a 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-12) loss on Thursday, Sept. 5.

RAWLINS – The Torrington Lady Blazer volleyball team opened the conference portion of the 2019 schedule with a road sweep at the hands of the Rawlins Lady Outlaws.
Rawlins handed Torrington a 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-12) loss on Thursday, Sept. 5.
The loss was Torrington’s fourth of the season as the Lady Blazers dropped to 3-4 on the season.
Sophomore Reece Halley and senior Dani Masterson led the Lady Blazers with three kills, while sophomore Sierra Allen, junior Michaela Moorehouse and Cameron Sitt added two each. Moorehouse tallied the team’s only serving ace. Sophomore setter Mattie Jones dished out a team-high six assists.
Defensively, Allen, Halley and Mooreshouse recorded one block each, while junior Emily McGaugh had six digs, while Sitt and Moorehouse had five each.
The Lady Blazers returns to Rawlins for the Rawlins Invite on Sept. 13-14.
