GLENROCK – The Lingle-Fort Laramie volleyball team returned to the court last Friday for the first time since Sept. 2, a span of 15 days.
The Lady Doggers made their way to Glenrock to face the Class 2A Lady Herders. L-FL came up on the losing end, 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-17).
Senior M’Lynn Hill and freshman Brenly Shipp led the team with six kills apiece, while sophomore Natalie Speckner added five. The Lady Doggers served up five aces in the match, including three from junior Baylee Skinner and two from Speckner. Skinner also led the team with 21 assists.
On the defensive side of the net, Speckner tallied a team-high 15 digs, while Hill added 14.
The Lady Doggers (4-4) host Niobrara County (1-11) at 5 p.m. Friday before traveling to Lusk for the Lusk Invite on Saturday.
