TORRINGTON – Memorial services for Kevin E. Nab, 54, will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2018, at the First Wyoming United Presbyterian Church with Derek Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery. 

Kevin died Aug. 14, 2018, at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff, Neb., after a courageous battle with cancer.  Cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to the Cancer Center or Festival of Hope at Regional West Medical Center. Kevin was born the day President Kennedy was assassinated, Nov. 22, 1963, in Torrington, the son of Ronald and Loretta (Hartung) Nab. He went to school at Lyman, Neb., Huntley, and later graduated from Torrington High School in 1982. He attended two years at Eastern Wyoming College and then went on to finish his education at Fort Hays State University in Kansas.

Kevin enjoyed all sports but his heart belonged to baseball. He played from T-Ball through college at Fort Hays State University. He also enjoyed coaching and umpiring.

Kevin is survived by his parents Ronald and Loretta Nab, two sisters Wendy (Greg) Posten and Denise (Randy) Hill, all of Torrington; nephews Brett Posten, Chris and Heath Hill, Anthony and Nathanial Dominguez; niece Shali (Jordon) Courtney; three great-nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

He was preceded in death by both grandparents, Harold and Helen Nab and Herman, and Rachel Hartung.
