FORT LARAMIE – Kenneth Franks was born July 29, 1929, to Everett and Jenny Franks. He lived on a dairy farm in Walton, N.Y. He died July 21, 2018, in Denver, Colo.
Kenneth welded on the natural gas pipeline on the site for Disney World in Florida. He worked construction in the summer and drove truck in the winter.
He drove truck in 42 of the 48 states. He continued in construction after he moved to Fort Laramie in 1994.
Kenneth is survived by all three of his ex-wives and his current wife, Mary, of Fort Laramie. Cremation has taken place. He will be buried at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at Fort Laramie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the Fort Laramie Volunteer Ambulance.
