YODER – With the calm wind sweeping across the plains cooling the heat of a fall day Thursday, the Southeast Junior High Cyclones won their game against Lusk 30–0, giving their head Coach Tim Eisenbarth his 100th career win at Southeast.
The game began the celebration of Homecoming at Southeast. Hamburger and hot dogs were on the menu for the barbecue. Then the fun began with a modeling contest, with competitors from the varsity and junior varsity football teams all dressed in their best.
The girls took the field to play flag football with the seniors scoring the most touch downs to beat the juniors and sophomores.
With the sun setting quickly in the west the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen took place with Mick Steinharsser as King and Kaci Schmick as Queen.
The annual Homecoming Court included: Senior Royalty Tim Becker and Katie Richardson; Junior Royalty, Greg Logsdon and Kendall Haas, and; Sophomore Royalty, Reece Robertson and Jocelyn Hottell.
After the crowning the bonfire was started by the Yoder Volunteer Fire Department. As the flames reached toward the sky the fire department put on a fireworks
